What We Do

Absolute Learning delivers workshops and coaching to help organisations develop their people, increase their capabilities and gain a competitive advantage.

Here are just a few of the ways in which we can help.

Transition to Management

We offer two levels –

  • First Steps into Management   is for people who are new to management and need to learn techniques such as how to make meetings work and how to handle performance management and appraisals, along with the basics of managing people.
  • Move Up to Senior Management is for those who are looking to develop their presence and personal impact, to help with their next promotion; and those who have been promoted and need to learn more about developing their teams.

After working with delegates in workshops, we then offer a range of coaching options, to help embed what has been learned and support people in their new roles.

“Ian is a breath of fresh air, with a fun, no-nonsense approach to the provision of learning and development, a self-deprecating sense of humour, as well as a wealth of knowledge and experience in the field.”

Mara Thorne, Director, M Thorne Consulting Limited

Working with Redundancy

We help individuals bounce back from redundancy and use change as an opportunity to fulfil their ambitions.

We offer

  •  1-2-1 coaching for individuals, starting with a face to face meeting, followed by a number of phone sessions, to help people to recognise their talents and achievements, build their self-esteem and eliminate roadblocks, write effective CVs and develop strong interview techniques.
  • Outplacement Support for companies, helping those who are being made redundant to find their next role. We offer flexible solutions to give people confidence boosts before interviews, helping them to prepare for each individual interview.

We support people by restoring their pride, identifying their passions and giving them purpose for the future.

“Ian has been a great support in reenergising my career ambitions through his CV writing expertise. ‘Keep things simple and to the point’. I would recommend him without hesitation.”

Edward Kennedy, Facilities Manager, City of London Freemen’s School

  • Making Meetings Work– for effective use of your time and the best results

We love using our years of experience to help other people to be more effective and help you get to where you want to be in your business and your career.

“Ian has a huge amount of experience in his field – but the thing that strikes me most is the way he can make a client feel relaxed and therefore his advice is much more easily absorbed. Ian has given me support on more than one occasion and I count myself lucky to know him.”
